A solo venture from Jackyl’s famous chainsaw wielding frontman Jesse James Dupree offered up more of the “in your face” southern hard rock that made Jackyl a platinum success, but also gave Dupree the freedom to explore genres such as rhythm & blues.
While on tour with Jackyl, Dupree played some new tunes to his old Geffen friend Lorren Cornelius who now worked with the independant label V2. Cornelius was so impressed that the label signed Dupree and a band and album were put together while Jackyl was on hiatus. Read more on Last.fm
